Firefox 3.5 is out 250% Faster than 3.0

The long awaited Firefox 3.5 is finally out with 250% faster speed , more secure, privacy mode and many more new features.  The new features over total over 5,000 , Mozilla claims.

Some very cold function for the new Firefox 3.5 i would like to highlight is private browsing (i call it as "porn mode" ), geolocation functionality.

If you’re using the private browsing (porn mode) to browse some naughty stuff nothing you encounter on the Web will be stored from that moment on during your browsing session and also the new Forget this Site feature can remove every trace of a site from your browser. If you want to remove all private data or activity from the past few hours, just click Clear Recent History, another Firefox-only feature, gives you full control over what stays and what goes.

Pretty cool right ? If you’re on a public PC your girlfriend and you share the same PC you will pretty much love this function a lot. Parent that sharing pc with their kids too. :)

Geolocation Functionality also known as Location Aware Browsing. Location Aware Browsing saves you time by allowing websites to ask you where you are located. If you choose to share your location with a website, it can use that information to find nearby points of interest and return additional, useful data like maps of your area. It’s all optional – Firefox doesn’t share your location without your permission.

To have clear picture about what i said you can check the video out here.

btw anyone still using IE 8 ?

How to Upgrade to Firefox 3.5 ?
